  • No, we all have our own unique brand, whether we consciously think about it or not. Whether it’s just a new headshot for your LinkedIn profile or a full set of images showcasing you and your story, Michael Gibson Creative Photography can help you.

  • It is very much a two-way process. We will plan and design the shoot together so that you get the images you need.

    This process begins before the day of the shoot.

    If you have purchased the taster package, this will be by way of a telephone or video call to get to know you and your business and an idea of the kind of shots you are looking for.

    If you have purchased one of our premium packages, the pre-shoot consultation will in more detail. You will be sent a fact-finding questionnaire and invited to join a Pinterest mood board collaboration where we will collect ideas regarding the style, mood and feel of the images you want. A detailed discovery call will be then held where we will discuss timings, locations, outfits, shot lists, etc. so that we are both clear on what is required on the day of the shoot. On the day itself, we will each have this plan to refer to so that nothing is missed.

  • You and your business are unique, and each shoot is tailored to your needs. For this reason, we advise speaking to us about your needs first so we can recommend the best options for you.

    You will find our prices very competitive. They are designed to fit any budget and start from as little as £50 for a single headshot for one person (providing up to four professionally shot and edited high-resolution digital images).

    Michael Gibson Creative Photography also offers a number of packages designed to offer you maximum value, as follows:

    • One-hour taster shoot, £395. Includes pre-shoot consultation and offers up to 40 professionally shot and edited high-resolution digital images, worth £795.

    • Three-hour package, £495. Includes pre-shoot consultation, Pinterest mood board collaboration, up to 120 professionally shot and edited high-resolution digital images, copy of each image sized for social media, 60-second social media show reel, 30-day social media calendar posts, graphics for social media, video clips and post-shoot consultation, worth £995.

    • Annual package, £1,795. This is the equivalent of four, three-hour packages taken over the course of a 12-month period, worth a total of £3,695.

    Remember, this is an investment in you and your business that will provide benefits far beyond the day of the shoot.

  • This depends upon the package purchased and the nature of the shoot.

    For guidance, typically a one-hour taster package should produce 30-40 images and a 3-hour shoot around 100. But if the shoot involves a lot of preparation (e.g. outfit changes, location changes, food preparation and styling), the number of images achievable may be reduced.

    We will discuss this during the pre-shoot consultation.

  • The typical turnaround time will be 2 working days, but we will endeavour to get the images to you within this timescale.

    If there is a higher than usual volume of images and / or the images require more complex editing which will impact upon the delivery time, this will be discussed at the time.

  • Payment will be via a secure payment app.

    A deposit of £150 or 50% of the total fee (whichever is smaller) will be payable upon booking.

    The full balance will be payable two weeks before the date of the shoot.

    No images will be released until payment is made.

  • Any additional services required, and their costs, will be discussed and agreed with you during the pre-shoot planning stage.

  • All images will be subject to a “light” edit and minor re-touching only (e.g. removal of dust, temporary minor blemishes, etc). If you would like the images to be heavily re-touched, this may require additional editing time or the employment of an outsourced photo re-toucher, which may incur additional time and cost to you.

  • The images will be sent to you via secure file transfer.

  • No, RAW files will not be shared. You will receive professionally edited high-resolution JPEG images derived from the RAW files. Depending upon the package purchased, you may also receive lower resolution images sized for social media purposes.

  • Michael Gibson Creative Photography will do everything in its power to ensure that you are happy with the images you receive. This starts with the planning stage and will continue during the shoot itself where we will show you previews of the images (on camera or laptop wherever possible).

    If you are not happy, we will offer to re-do the shoot or offer a refund (in part or full depending upon the circumstances). You will not be allowed to use images from a refunded shoot.

  • Once you have received your images you are free to use them in whatever manner you choose, whether that is on your website, in social media posts or other marketing materials.

    Michael Gibson Creative Photography retains the copyright of the images and reserves the right to use those images for its own promotional purposes.

  • For ease, and owing to time / location restrictions, every effort will be made to use natural light only. However, Michael Gibson Creative Photography recognises that this may not always be possible and has available a range of flash and constant light sources. We will discuss the requirements of the shoot in the pre-shoot planning phase.

    If the shoot is to be heavily dependent upon the use of flash, this may incur additional cost owing to the need to transport the additional equipment, additional set-up / take-down time, and potential need for an assistant on the day of the shoot.

  • All of our pricing options are for professionally shot and edited high-resolution digital images only.

    However, printed images can be made available upon request. We will be happy to discuss pricing and delivery options with you.
