It is very much a two-way process. We will plan and design the shoot together so that you get the images you need.

This process begins before the day of the shoot.

If you have purchased a taster package, this will be by way of a telephone or video call to get to know you and your business and an idea of the kind of shots you are looking for.

If you have purchased one of my premium packages, the pre-shoot consultation will in more detail. You will be sent a fact-finding questionnaire (Brand Workbook) and invited to join a Pinterest Mood Board collaboration where we will collect ideas regarding the style, mood and feel of the images you want. A detailed planning call will be then held where we will discuss timings, locations, outfits, shot lists, etc. so that we are both clear on what is required on the day of the shoot. On the day itself, we will each have this plan to refer to so that nothing is missed.

You and your business are unique, and each shoot is tailored to your needs. For this reason, I advise speaking to me about your needs first so I can recommend the best options for you.

You will find my prices very competitive. They are designed to fit any budget and start from as little as £155 for a single headshot session for one person (providing up to four professionally shot and edited high-resolution digital images).

Remember, this is an investment in you and your business that will provide benefits far beyond the day of the shoot.

This depends upon the package purchased, nature of the shoot and the intended purpose for the images.

At Michael Gibson Creative Photography, I favour quality over quantity.

For guidance, typically a 2-hour package should produce 25-30 images and a 4-hour shoot around 75-80. But if the shoot involves a lot of preparation (e.g. outfit changes, location changes, food preparation and styling), the number of images achievable may be reduced.

For event coverage, this will depend upon whether you require “reportage” style coverage, which would typically yield more images than if you require formal “posed” images of key guests / attendees.

Expect 50-100 images per hour of reportage coverage where minimal editing is required, or 25-50 images per hour where more “formal” images / higher level editing is required.

We will discuss this during the pre-shoot consultation.

The typical turnaround time will be 5 working days, but I will endeavour to get the images to you within this timescale.

If there is a higher than usual volume of images and / or the images require more complex editing which will impact upon the delivery time, this will be discussed at the time.

For larger events:

• Half day coverage - up to 10 working days

• Full day coverage - up to 20 working days

Wherever possible, I will endeavour to provide a few preview images on the same day or early the next day (e.g. if you need them for social media purposes). I will discuss and agree this with you during the planning process.

Payment will be by bank transfer.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total fee will be payable upon booking to secure your slot.

The full balance will be payable upon receipt and approval of proof images.

No images will be released until payment has been made in full.

Any additional services required, and their costs, will be discussed and agreed with you during the pre-shoot planning stage.
