Event photography is all about creating a suite of powerful, professional images to showcase your event, from the big picture, down to the little details and brief moments that really tell the story and capture the atmosphere.

These can include photographs of your event that show the people and activities that uniquely detail the story.

No two events are the same.

At Michael Gibson Creative Photography, I recognise that no two events are the same, and you need images that capture the unique atmosphere of yours.

Indoor, outdoor, small and intimate, or larger events.

Formal, informal, daytime or evening.

We will discuss what you need from your event coverage, from basic reportage to formal individual and team shots so that you know what you are getting.

Prices and Packages

My event packages are designed to cover all of your needs for reportage / documentary style coverage of your event. These provide for a mix of candid shots, images reflecting the ambience of the day, and basic posed images where ambient light or on camera flash can be used.

Please request a quote if you have additional requirements, such as formal posed shots or studio style lighting.

The number of images you should expect will vary depending upon the nature of the event, the nature of the images required, and the level of editing. Please see the FAQs for more information.

All packages include:

  • Pre-shoot planning consultation

  • Reportage / documentary style coverage

  • Editing time

  • High-resolution digital images

  • Up to 1 hour of travel each way

Full Gallery

  • You should typically expect around 50-100 images per hour of reportage coverage where minimal editing is required, or 25-50 images per hour where more “formal” images / higher level editing is required.

    Allow 1 hour of editing time per hour of reportage / documentary style event coverage.

    This will vary depending upon the nature of the event and your photography requirements.
